Project Description:
The St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral is designed in the traditional Byzantian style with a cruciform orientation and features Old World elements such as copper domes. The 24,000 SF sanctuary building accommodates seating for 550 and also includes administrative offices, a multi-purpose room and a kitchen. The sanctuary interior features a simple yet elegant design that serves as an “empty canvas” for the Church’s iconographic paintings. The 17,500 SF education building addition includes a gymnasium, eight classrooms, fellowship hall, commercial kitchen and storage areas.
