About SPT Architecture

Established in 1985 by Ron Spangenberg and Randy Phillips, Spangenberg Phillips Tice Architecture has over 34 years of experience in a variety of project types. Our varied experience includes civic, corporate office, education, entertainment, financial, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, multi-family residential, real estate development, recreation, religious, retail, senior living and custom single-family residential projects.

Our firm is mid-sized by design ensuring our partners, who include Ron Spangenberg, Randy Phillips, Greg Tice, Rebecca Gates, Brad Teeter, Gina Loomis and Dave Wells, maintain involvement in project design and not just firm management. At least one partner is personally involved with every aspect of a project, from start to finish.

As well as partner involvement, we employ a team approach to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The project team consists of the partner-in-charge, a project manager who ensures that designs meet client requirements and sees the project through construction, and a technical team that prepares the project for construction.

In addition to typical design services, we also offer services in interior architecture and design. Through our experience in space planning and specification of color, finish materials, lighting and furniture, we provide design solutions that create unique and personalized interior environments.

Using the client’s needs and desires for a project as our foremost design tool, we examine every aspect of a project through the client’s perspective.
