Project Description:

The Halloren Building in Ottawa, Kansas is a historic renovation of a former auto-sales center (built 1923 and remodeled in the 1950s) into a multi-tenant restaurant and office space. A portion of the first floor was converted to the Corner Market Restaurant, a coffee shop and cocktail bar, with the original drive-through space transformed into a patio with a see-through fireplace and window wall. The Corner Market interior features an industrial design with sealed concrete floors and exposed ceilings with bright white 3-dimensional wall tile offset by the warm colors of the butcher block counter top and tables. The remainder of the first floor has multiple office tenant spaces available while the 2nd floor includes student apartments for nearby Ottawa University.
